How Much Will It Cost to Paint the Interior of my Home in Ambler, PA?
Have you ever hired a contractor to do work on your home and been completely surprised when the bill came?
Surprised in a bad way – that it’s too high?
Or maybe you took your car into the shop and the total bill at the end was way more than you expected.
How about finishing a nice meal and the bill arrives and it’s way more than you had planned for this date night!
It’s not a fun feeling!
Whether you’re getting work done to your home, getting a vehicle repaired, or even dining out, receiving a bill that is much higher than you expected can be devastating and put a damper on the whole experience.
Painting your home doesn’t have to end this way!
We help you take care of your investment with a fresh repaint and ensure it is a pleasant experience. So much so that you will want to talk to your friends and family about how they can receive the same great experience at Aspen Painting!
One of the ways we do this is by letting you know upfront what the cost will be.
You can even know before we arrive for the estimate, what the price will be – there are no dark surprises here!
On our pricing page, you can build your very own estimate and compare it with ours when we arrive for the estimate.
Here is an example so you can see for yourself, just how easy it is.
Let’s say you have a small bedroom that you want to turn into a guest bedroom since your child has moved out and gotten married. (Congratulations, by the way!) 🙂
The first step is to measure the room’s length and width and ceiling height.
You measure and come up with 10 feet by 12 feet with ceilings at 8 feet high, a fairly common room size.
Next, look at our pricing page.
You can see this room size is $490.
When you scroll down to see the footnotes, you can see that this includes paint and labor.
Oh, but you just looked at your ceiling while measuring and it turns out, that could also use a fresh repaint to renew the whole room.
Looking at the pricing page, for a room that is 10×12, the ceiling is just an additional $150.
Adding up $490 + $150 = $640
NEXT, you can easily decide to schedule an appointment for an estimate to confirm this number or just call and we can email the estimate right over to you.
With Covid and other illnesses out there, you can enjoy the peace of mind of getting your home painted, with less exposure to people, if you choose to use our pricing page, call and have us email the estimate to you – skipping the appointment phase entirely!
Now, we do recommend having an appointment for an estimate for these reasons:
- We can see clearly the condition of the surfaces
- If it’s been a while, we can determine if more paint is needed as older walls tend to absorb the paint more.
- We can see if there will be a lot more prep work than normal – do you have a lot of furniture or heavy furniture to move before painting? Are there heavy window treatments that need to be removed before painting?
- Are there drywall repairs needed?
- Are you changing colors drastically from dark to light or light to dark?
And so on.
That being said, if you can email clear, bright photos over, that will also aid in our estimating precision, should you decide to skip the in person estimate.
We love meeting new potential customers in person, but we respect that you may not feel comfortable doing that in this present time and given the past couple of years.
