- If it’s been a while, we can determine if more paint is needed as older walls tend to absorb the paint more.
- We can see if there will be a lot more prep work than normal – do you have a lot of furniture or heavy furniture to move before painting? Are there heavy window treatments that need to be removed before painting?
- Are there drywall repairs needed?
- Are you changing colors drastically from dark to light or light to dark?
And so on.
That being said, if you can email clear, bright photos over, that will also aid in our estimating precision, should you decide to skip the in person estimate.
